Biscuitville gives 7 Virginia restaurants sneak peek at potential new menu items
Greensboro, N.C. (Oct. 23, 2023) – Staying true to its Fresh Southern® roots, Biscuitville is pleased to announce it will test several new menu items in its Virginia market, including pit-cooked pulled pork, served four ways! Virginia guests will also be the first to taste Biscuitville’s Homemade Mac & Cheese and newest bakery sweets.
The success of the fall test items in Virginia will determine if the items will be added to Biscuitville’s menu in all markets. Last fall, for example, the Skinny Biscuit made its menu debut in Virginia before rolling out in all markets in 2023.
“We’re pushing the limits of the Quick Service Restaurant industry with our newest test items, proving what’s possible when our culinary team continues to prioritize quality and flavor,” said Jim McCurley, Chief Culinary Officer at Biscuitville. “We’re excited to give Virginia the first taste of these soon-to-be guest favorites, including our new, pit-cooked pulled pork, locally sourced from a fourth-generation, family-owned company in Siler City, North Carolina.”
Following in its tradition of partnering with family-owned suppliers, Biscuitville’s new Southern Comfort Platter test item features its sausage gravy, sourced from Swaggerty’s, a third-generation, family-owned company that produces premium sausage products.
